Sound Body Health & Chiropractic (1988) and Chiropractic and Wellness Specialists (2005) were merged to one business and opened in one location by Dr. Peter Halvorson in 2019. This healthcare clinic has been a staple in the Lakewood, CO community for decades, and Dr. Halvorson is passionate about carrying on the long-standing tradition of providing excellent, personalized natural health care for all ages.

We now have a new remodeled office, still in the Lakewood area, that completes our designs for an expanded full service Healthcare clinic. In 2026 we are launching our integrated medicine practice, Sound Body Integrated Medicine.

At our family-friendly practice, we welcome children, adults, seniors, athletes, construction workers, office professionals and many hometown heroes such as police officers, EMTs, firefighters and military personnel.

Facilitating Your Healing

With our help, we hope that you’ll feel incredible and return to doing the things you love. Dr. Halvorson has seen a broad range of concerns, such as people who have been unable to leave their bed. After receiving chiropractic and integrated care, however, they were able to get up, go for walks and be active again.
